I feel so guilty about not updating the ramblings page, i suck. I haven’t got any good excuses up my sleeve, im just plain ol bad. Bad Mai Bad! (do i get brownie points for updating the photo pages?) I havent had any real urge to write, but then again all my ramblings are of the nonsense and most often incoherent types anyway so /shrug.

The other day i realised that I’m in the wrong profession. My doctor told me to make an appointment to see a specialist for 2 months down the track, just incase this latest dose of stuff doesnt help. So there i was on a friday afternoon, a month after my doctor told me to make the appointment (tsk tsk tsk bad mai), trying to actually make this appointment happen. The nearest slot available in the whole of Canberra isnt till March of next year! That’s just insane! Im sooo not in the right profession! I should have been a doctor! hahaha.

I could have been a filipina version of Doogie Howser (gawd im showing my age!) since i started uni a tad bit early (at 14). Could have gone into med school, done whatever and put those early years to my advantage. But no, I took up the only logical (please remember this is the Mai Logic Im talking about) course of action, I became a Fine Arts major!! No wonder my mum didnt take me seriously when at my graduation I told her i was thinking of taking up Law. Now really, from Fine Arts to Law hahah what was i thinking. Surprisingly though I did have all the right credits to get me into Law school.
