Its been pretty busy lately and i have neglected to make some time to post anything on MadMonday. I did however managed to upload some photos to flickr and get some Moo mini cards printed =D and we love them!! =D

And now to continue on with some updates ..

Bad Mom
Have you ever watched one of those movies where a kid gets into an accident and the Mum rushes off to be beside the kid and gets all panicky, shrieks and just cries whilst you’re screaming “Do some first aid stuff or call an ambulance you stupid woman!!!”. Well a couple of weeks ago I caught a glimpse of this in real life. Except I wasnt watching a woman going all helpless. A sudden realisation has hit me. I’m thinking there’s a high probability that I could be one of those. A couple of weeks ago we had some tradesmen in the house and might not have secured the gate properly when they left. We should have checked it ourselves, but we didnt. The next night Pob and I went out and came home around 10. There was a note on the front door from our Neighbour. It said that our small dog got out of the yard and got hit by a car, he ran straight home but has got some cuts. We opened the door and got into the house and let the dogs in. Toffie was bleeding, he was soo hurt. He had dried tears in his eyes. Pob put him on a towel, I just sat there next to Toffie crying and trembling and panicking, not knowing what to do. Pob, my hero cleaned Toffie up. He was badly cut, it looked really bad but could still walk with a slight limp. He didnt seem to have any broken bones. He ate his dinner which was a good sign and Kobie kept an eye on him. We got him to the Vet first thing in the morning. He got a lot of stitches and alot of pills to take but the Vet said he is one lil tough puppy. Good thing Toffie is built like a brick lol. I cant believe I broke down and sobbed and took me a while to get my head around it all. I actually felt like I was one of those mums leaving their kids in the car whilst i go out and play the pokies. Tofy is doing great now. He was back to doing his excitable Toffie dance on the third day (one where he sorta jumps around unable to control his bottom half)and just over 2 weeks later he has his stitches off.

Sydney
We spent a few days in Sydney, actually it was just the weekend past and tho the grey clouds tried to spoil our time up there we still had a blast. The main event was to see Pirates of Panzan at the Opera House, Sydney. Pirates of Panzan was one of the plays that Pob remembers seeing as a kid and so when we found out about the show we jumped at the chance to go see it. Neither of us has seen a show at the Opera House before so that was an added bonus. We found a fabulous restaurant by the Opera house that served the yummiest magic prawns. I think they were called magic and if it isnt well it was definitely magic in your mouth! The food was fabulous, the wine was excellent, my pre show mango daqueri was divine and the actual show was impressive (gosh i thought i was going to run out of brilliant adjectives just then). I think this was the last weekend of the show but if in case I am wrong you must try and get tickets!! The following days followed with some sight seeing, some shopping and spending some time with good friends Melbourne and Canberra. We all ended up staying at the one hotel and so us girls managed to squeeze in quite a few gossip sessions and serious quality giggling sessions =D………………. ahhh it is what we do best hehe.
