We spent the past few days in Sydney where we saw Eric Clapton !!! and relaxed on the beach and had some yummy spanish cuisine (photos to come!). We came back late yesterday afternoon and i thought of doing a bit of painting to relax. I was going to start a new project but thought we should really finish the mural especially if we’re going to be busy in the next few weeks.

And so finally, we finally finished the mural!! We actually finished the final touches about an hour ago and I just had to share the results =D

The Mural Story

The Sun represents me as my surname translates to rays of the sun

The Owl represents Pob as his surnale translates to Owl

The Butterflies: I needed something to draw the viewer’s eyes from the pets to the Owl (and vice versa) so I added some butterflies and it just so happens i ended up with 7 of them which tied nicely with our families. One for each set of parents, one for us, one each for my 2 sisters, one for Pobs sister and one for his brother =D
