There are motorbikes everywhere! and some have even 4 or more people on it!
This was taken in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). Our tour guide told us there was over 3 million motorbikes in Ho Chi Minh alone.
I havent mastered the task of crossing the street yet. Its quite daunting. Someone told us you cant wait for road to clear (i dont think it ever does) but you would slowly cross the street. No sudden movements. And the motorbikes, bicycles and cars will go around you. Ive decided to just walk to a traffic light or cross when someone else crosses or hope that a nice policeman helps me cross the road =D. Ive noticed that its common for taxis to make a u-turn at your destination to ensure you get out at the right side of the street.
regardless if i can ever cross the street on my own, a street buzzing with motorbikes is a pretty amazing site to behold!
