It has been a while since I made a written post. This blog was quite neglected last year and i think almost every time i made a “written post” its starts with “its been a while..” lol
Wow! how quick did 2007 zoom past? A lot of changes & blessings happened last year starting with:
- the move to Melbourne
- canceling old plans and making new ones
- the joys of professional movers making the move a little less stressful
- finding a rental place when the market was sooo tight & ever so expensive
- turning our old home with our much loved mural into a rental property (we were in tears(!) as we locked up the house for the last time)
- a trip to Asia and formally cementing the fact that Pob is really not one for very hot and humid environments
- returning from overseas to a quiet house (the dogs were still at the kennels) and having that feeling that our house didnt feel quite like “home” just yet
- Trying to get back on the property ladder to find more permanent digs (started looking since we arrived and have been religiously looking every weekend for 7 months now!)
- getting reacquainted with old friends and meeting new ones
- having fabulous friends also move down to Melbourne shortly after our big move
- both of us changing jobs and having to learn new roles
- exploring melbourne and its surrounding areas and finding new “faves”
- returning to my artsy side and have been drawing, painting from walls to canvas to even ceramics, taking photos, capturing moments. (making a lil $$ from my art is an added bonus! )
- returning back to Canberra over Christmas suddenly realising that we no longer call it “home”
- Its January 28 and I am only JUST taking the Christmas tree down!

I must say that I love this painting. I was on flickr searching for background images for my computer, and when I came across this one.. it spoke to me.
Just wanted to drop by and let you know that your work is outstanding.
Take care!
