An awesome find!

A house around the corner from us was holding a garage sale. We drove past and I saw this table and begged Mic to stop so I could take a closer look.

It was sturdy, perfect size for desk/art table and the plus side was it was hand made.

I offered $10 for it and they agreed!!! We took it home.

It doesnt really match any other furniture so I decided to refinish it. I couldnt be bothered going to the hardware store to get proper materials so I rummaged around my art supply and found a sample pot of white wall paint. It was less then half full but i still gave it a go.

and tada!!! I know have a white art table with a painting on top of a tree branches and pretty white little flowers. I love it!! and I still had a quarter of the sample pot paint left over.

The next day i decided to paint the bookshelf with the left over paint so that the two pieces would match.

so with half a tub of white sample paint I managed to refinish my table with Mai’s version of shabby chic and refinish the bookshelf =D

i love my new table =D
